Photo Booth – How Much Does It Cost to Hire a Photo Booth?

The answer is that it completely depends on what level of service you’re looking for. Let’s discuss!

Unlike some Photo Booth providers, we aim to charge the same price regardless of whether you’re hiring us for a Wedding, Corporate Event, Birthday Party, Christening, Baptism, Bah-mitzva, Anniversary, Random House Party, Prom, Retirement Party (you get the idea – we can provide for ANYTHING!), the day of the week you hire us, location of your venue, etc.

Occasional Events was born…

Laura and I became engaged in October 2015. Shortly after, we were doing much the same as every other couple out there; trawling Wedding Fayres looking for the right venues and suppliers for our big day. We couldn’t believe the difference in prices between venues and suppliers. What on earth could be so different from one to the next?

With that in mind we launched Occasional Events NE Ltd with one key company value; regardless of time, date or type of event we will always look to quote exactly the same price. We will not quote you more just because it’s a weekend or because you mention the forbidden “W” word (Wedding) or because your business can afford it.

With the exception of prizes, special offers & those beyond our 50-mile inclusive travel radius, you will always be quoted our advertised price or, if you’re building a Bespoke Package, a fair and reasonable price.

They’re not all the same, it’s true!

Now, we’re not saying that every Photo Booth supplier is the same. Far from it! Every provider offers a little of something different, there are many different types of Photo Booths and, in some cases, there is no booth at all – rather just a green or white curtain with a camera on a tripod.

If any of you watch ITV’s Judge Rinder you’ll be more than aware of the phrase, “Caveat Emptor”, or, in the Queen’s English, “Let the buyer beware”. This doesn’t mean, “don’t hire anyone” rather just do your research to be sure you’re getting what you expect and want.

If you’re putting your time and hard-earned money into an event (or anything for that matter) be 100% certain before parting with your money; send an email, speak to the business on the phone, whatever it takes to ensure you’re comfortable and happy that you are getting exactly what you expect.

Not just a run-of-the-mill Photo Booth…

Laura and I have worked hard to ensure we’re more than just the run-of-the-mill Photo Booth provider. Having spent almost two years planning our own wedding and other parties in between (Baby Showers, Baptisms/Christenings, Birthdays – you name it really), we understand what a chore it can be having to work through your list of needs and wants… First working through your venues and short-listing them then viewing them, then your flowers or balloons, etc, etc.

It doesn’t have to be so difficult, though, does it? Not when we can do the hard work for you. Laura and I have spent a lot of our “down time” networking & building trusted relationships with Venues and Suppliers suitable for any budget and occasion; you can view our list here.

We aim to make your entire event process as easy as possible, we can even partner up with a number of the other providers to build you a package incorporating everything you need for one reasonable price.

Popular Photo Booth Packages…

We tend to offer 3 very popular packages which will provide you with all the essentials for any event, you can find them by clicking here.

For this blog, we will briefly discuss what we recommend each package for:

Bronze Package would be for less sentimental events such as a house party

Silver Package would be for any event where you would want to retain all the images for personal or business use. We would certainly recommend at least a Silver Package for any function involving anyone under the age of 18 as we will not retain images of anyone we believe or know to be under the age of 18 to ensure we do not breach any copy-write or child protection laws.

Gold Package would be for any event that holds high sentimental value such as a wedding, anniversary, birthday, retirement or for any occasion where those distant relatives you only see at big events are going to attend.

We feel that our three packages cover all the essentials of hiring a Photo Booth and will help make the Photo Booth hiring process super easy and streamlined.

Maybe our three main packages aren’t all you were after or perhaps you wanted a lot less because your budget doesn’t stretch, maybe you’re a charity with no budget what-so-ever?
